SHort selling using sharekhan

Has anyone tried using short sell option in sharekhan.
When we go to Buy/Sell I see an option called short sell.How much fund do you need to be kept aside for the same? and do we need to squareoff this position that day itself.

You will get 2 times or 4 times exposure that depends on the scrips you short,You should square off the position the same day or else you shares will be auctioned on the 7th day from the trading date,so be careful while shorting use stoploss.

I exposure also I beleive depends upon whtever u have been given while opening an acct with sharekhan..For volume traders or for them who give sharekhan good brokerage income they tend to give exposure more ..
