and how is the geojit online service. what is the different between the packages like silver, platinum and gold. any one share ur experience.

No Sharekhan Classic account facility does not give trading terminal. It has a simple interface where you get Quote and place your buy or sell Order. Their Fast Trade Account is connected to Trading Terminal but you get to see only scrip tickers with their respectives rates like: LTP, Open, Close, High, Low etc. Also there is no Charting Facility.

Initially I had apoplied for geojit through Axis bank Demat but it took them more than a month to give their online trading kit. Midway I applied for and got Fast Trade account of Sharekhan before Geojit. After getting Geojit I compared both their respective refreshing speeds I found Sharekhan's speed to be much faster. Also in sharekhan your transaction takes place within seconds. The onlydrawback is there is no charting facility. Sharekhan has a charting facility in their Speedtrade Account but I think they charge Rs. 500/- a month for this account. Their brokerage charges are 7 paise for intraday and 40 paise for delivery. The scheme which they have given me i.e. Fasttrade, for that they have taken advanced brokerage of Rs 2000/- and annual maintenance charge for the first year is free and thereafter it is Rs 300/- per annum. Uptill now I have found their handling of accounts very transparent and services very satisfactory.

I have used Speedtrade from sherkhan speed looks good when its work. Some time it’s stuck then need to change server connection then its start again.

Performance is very good as till now I was using ICICI and HDFC. Charting is very good in sppedtrade you can select graph giving time with 1,5,10,50 minutes. Old charts also available.

Order and Trade detils are difficult to find old trading data and order data is available only for certain time

Overall I like it. 70 % better then ICICI and HDFC.
