ICICIDirect Helpdesk

#1
I have written a couple of emails to ICICIDirect.com and the replies have not come yet. I am curious to know if anyone else is facing the same problem.

In the past, they would reply at least in 2 days, however, this time it is more than 5 days since I havent heard from them

-Thanks

Thanks.
I knew that ICICIDirect is not good at their day-trading. I use it only for mymutual fund purchases as they have a good bank to MF connection.

Howver, last few days htey have not replied to my mails and the phone helpdesk says that she cannt help.

icicidirect never bother about your queries / complaints. in my experience i have received twice the confirmation that my mail is received but the problem is not set right by them.

GlobalGyan,

I use it only for mymutual fund purchases as they have a good bank to MF connection.
Not sure if you should ICICI for mutual funds anymore, unless you want to donate 2.25% of your investment for their welfare!?

no private broking firm wants you to make rich
That doesn't make sense. Brokers get more business only if their customers are rich.

I have found that only telephone call works best ..... after a long wait and going through complicated menu which each every month changes.

for email i have found they do not respond unless the reply is favorable to them, or they respond after the issue is resolved.

Did you try their escalation email id

"Escalations - Webtrade COO" <coo@i c i c i d i r e c t.c o m>, and mark a copy to headprivatebank@i c i c i bank.com if you are a private bank customer.

If you search the traderji forums you may get the email id of Kamath and you can mark a copy to that email id if you find it suitable

Regards

PS: i'm no way associated with icici :)

Thanks a lot of the answers:
1. My issue got resolved. The reply came, a bit late and as mentioned by VipinShetty, the response came after issue was resolved.
2. Yes Telephone call is the best, i feel. The wait is long , but you can speak to someone.
3. I know that 2.25% of the money will be donated to the brokrage :-(, but i would prefer to have a one stop shop rather than having multiple user id and passwords for different amc (to track funds online). also, the best part is that whenever the market falls (like now), we can issue a MF purchase, without much hazzles.
Thank you once again
