Hi,
I currently use the icicidirect site to trade. I'm thinking of changing to a different broker. What I would like to know is whether the other major on-line brokers offer a good portfolio tracker. While speed and brokerage are problems with icicidirect, this is one feature I am quite happy with and would like to shift to a broker who offers a good portfolio tracker.
For reference, the main features of the icicidirect tracker are:
- deals done using their web site automatically get added
- deals done through other brokers can be added manually
- in summary view, shows holding, cost, market value, unrealised gain/loss, realised gain/loss
- uses FIFO method to calculate gain/loss
- in detail view, shows history of all deals in a scrip
- has all of the above features for tracking mutual funds also
Hope some of you will be able to compare this with the features your brokers are offering.
Thanks.
PS - I am not a day trader and generally buy and hold for some time. Hence the requirement.
