Brokerage in IPO

#1
Hi All,

I am new to investing in share market. I have a question regarding IPO's.
When we apply for IPO do brokerage houses charge brokerage? Also in another thread i came to know about reliance money RS 500/yr offer. More details would be appreciated.

Regards,

You need not to pay brokerage for IPO. Reliance money Rs.500 per year offer is for opening trading and demat a/c with them. With Rs.500 you will trade upto Rs.6 lacs within a year. From Reliance Money you can apply for IPO, MF, etc. free of cost.
