Trailing stoploss

Hi,
I am a very new trader in nse/bse.

i have been given odin diet client from my broker ( transworld securities)

one of the biggest problem which i am having is the fact that i don't have

:: Trailing stop losses :: in it.

i have been reading and searching a lot but so far haven't been able to get it.

so all i need is a plugin for odin which can add "TRAILING stop losses" in odin diet client and not normal stop losses

or any system which can let me add it .

i have metastock 10 with me, so if anyone needs it please do let me know.

and do let me knwo if there are any software which can let me trade virtually , meaning just practice trading on live software quotes without involving actual money, kinda like "www.khelostocks.com"

thanks a lot, i'll definately try this one out, however i am just not able to find anysoftware which has trailing stoploss in it, nor plugin for odin diet or anything......

do u know of some software or trick which can do this?

Technically not a possible case to trail stp with basis sw like diet odin most of brokers in India dont care of such thing beacuse of technical reasons behind

Order management and follow up can be done using a program only if trade automation is allowed. Atpresent, the retail doesn't have access to this facility for Indian stocks and derivaties. For forex, I guess there are a lot of softwares like Ninja Trader which take care of the order for you. Amarnath must be knowing more than I in this area.

Yes in any OTC type markets like forex or cfds OCO orders can be easily implemented as orders are matched in house with pool of orders and market maker only off set % of risk he feel with basket of position he have

But in futures or stock markets which are exchange based implementing more order type requires more computing resources and more complex order managment systems at sever end which makes retail brokers tough to implement such features


BTW unless one have access to Odin server and client API's writing plugin to do such task is near impossibility also such thing need high computing resource at broker server end atleast

And some one from FT might have better answer or some professional progmmer can have better solutions ?? i am just full time trader not programmer
