plz help me on an issue.........the initial amount that sharekhan is charging for speedtrade a/c is rs.1000 while for classic scheme its Rs.750.......are there any extra charges/brokerage commitment associated with speedtrade a/c or its just a onetime investment of Rs.250 extra for better trading experience.

can u tell me if they allow to place orders after market hours in both classic & speedtrade a/c or only in speedtrade a/c.

sorry for being so very demanding......but plz tell me if i am opting for AMC Rs.2000 scheme then will the entire amount is adjustable with brokerage or there are some DP charges & maintenance cost also adjusted.

speedtrade will cost 1000 Rs for opening and 1000 Rs querterly (which is adjustable against revenue generated) i.e. if u generate 1000 Rs brokrage within 3 months then its ok otherwise 1000 Rs will be deducted from ur account .also dp and AMC are charged differntly.
dont forgot to negotiate the brokrage ,if u r opening thr. their executive.,

For speedtrade(tiger) Sharekhan expects u to generate 500rs/- brokerage every month else it willl directly get deducted from u'r acct if u request for speedtrade.It is observed quartely
1500/-..If 1500 is not generated then they/U have the option to stop speedtrade .
So cost is associated with SpeedTrade.

Hi sanjugalande ,
Sharekhan charges brokerages differently .If u are able to generate brokerage 500/month then u can negotiate with them for less than 4 paise/40 paise (in u'r frnds case 3/30)..Nowadays for new accts they are giving 3 paise/30 paise (depends upon u ..what u commiy for brokerage)

they also have a scheme of paying Rs 6000/- initially and the brokerage will get adjusted from that amount. their margin and delivery is also less if you take that scheme. the scheme is valid for one year.
