I have been using Karvy fom 2 years and I had all kind of problems that the customer can get.

Latest being that they even do not transfer the shares bought by me. They simply say it is in pool. Though dividend it is not given as they say it goes to Ledger and they don't credit the balance. Sometimes the they say it's server problem and wait till the price I intend to buy/ sell goes off.

SO SIMPLY
NO DIVDENDS
NO STOCKS IN DEMAT
NO BUYING/ SELLING (Their Server comes from hell)
HIGH BROKERAGES

What worse than this ? I request any of the traders whether I can go for SEBI/ any organisation for not showing shares I have bought in my account

Hmm..dont mind me asking but if they are so bad why have you been with them for two years? After all you are the paying customer and you sure can switch to any brokerage of your choice any time you want.
I am not sure what kind of reply you are waiting for either?

Brijwanths,
If you are maintaining a running account with karvy then they wont transfer shares to your dmat acc unless and until you tell them , ie you give a payout request if you want shares in your dmat account. For this you can just send them an email with subject "payout of securities" and ask them to transfer shares to your dmat account. They also have a special email id for payouts , i dont remember but its [email protected] / [email protected] , try which works.

After you have given them request for payout of securities if they dont transfer shares in your dmat account you can complain to greivance cell of KARVY , the email of greivance cell is given on karvy.com. If you dont get proper response from greivance cell complain to NSE/BSE the exchange where shares were bought .

I completely agree with you..When I have received a login email and tried to use the credentials, it has resulted in negative...I am cursing myself why I have gone to it when so many other good players been there in its neighborhood including banking ones...!
I do not recommend it at all anymore.

once u get shares to ur demat account, u can transfer them another broker house, by paying some fees on per scrip basis.

Am planning to transfer my shares from angel broking to share khan.
