Emptor,
As you are to be exposed to a New arena ,1st few months will be for learning the System / Terminology "Sea" of things.Brokerage cant be your 1st Criteria,go for a broker near to your working place & a very friendly RM ,you will need more service in this initial phase.Later on once you r ok ,you yourself will understand which will be the best broker for you,plz dont harp on Brookerage point only.

Hey asish,

thanks for ur concern to explain few vital tips.

Yes i do understand brokerage shouldn b the first criteria to select
a good broker, initially i was trading thru my dad's account @ Karvy Consultants, n was also inclined to get registered wit them but those ppl
didn have a option of linking my account, hence i dropped the plan:mad: .
Later thou of gettin an account @ ICICI Direct, but heard loads of bad comments bout them. Hence

To put it more clear, M lookin for a good "Stock Consultant" than a
broker.
