Red face More than one DP Account

Dear,
I am doing the share trading with one broker with trading account and DP account. But I wish to trade with another broker without cancelling the fist broker. Can I open another DP account with other broker? i.e is it possible to open more than one trading and DP account at a time? There is any problem (either tax or any other) if we have two trading and DP account.

I am expecting the reply from somebody who is having idea about this matter.

Thanks

Vinod

Yes you can have as many DP accounts in your name...as long as you show them in your tax returns.

DP account is just like bank a/c having no restriction on the nos. yo can have as many as you want but u need to show it to tax bodies, but it is recommended to have one DP account so that to tract the stocks is easy
