This is to inform all the KOTAK SECURITIES customers to check there ledger accounts and contract note trasactions,it is billing twice and also billing orders which a customer has not placed.
sincerely i approached them,but they say we will check and never reply anything other than listening to problem and saying we will check it. past one month i had two exiperiences with these people till now my problem is not solved . i would like to know,whom should i approach and how can solve my problem. any suggestions please post |

Good message for other members. There may be others also who have similar experience with other brokers as well. All one has to do is to keep track of their transactions including ledger account and holdings.

HAve been trading with them for the last 2 months or so. Havnt found any problems with them till date but will be extra careful. Cant trust anyone and it is for us to keep our eyes open.
As far as raising contract notes for trades not done by you, you can always go back to them and ask for records as they are mandatorily required to keep logs of every clients trades. |

i have been asking them from past one month but always they say we check in back office and vanish.
when the stock is split for every reason they say" it is in no delivary period".what ever be your query. my billing shows orders which are not placed and my contract note is very correct which is showing what i did on that day. one bill which they have repeated with different trade date,fortunately those value are not reached on nse on that day. inspite of all these,they are not trying to solve just they say we will look in to it and never again they call you. when local office manager tried to contact them they said i place order, then where is contract note about those trasaction and also how can you come up with billing with those values which are not reached on that day. |

Hi,
I am using kotaksecurities.com since last 2.5 years. Though I haven't faced any major problem/stand-off with them as yet, but even I agree that their customer service is pathetic & extremely disgusting especially their email-service. They take no less than 5 days to reply to customer queries. But I must admit that their web interface for trading is quite simple & also the ledger-accounting system is also simple for beginners. If they improve their customer service then it is best for the beginners to go online & invest/trade. Regards, |

Kotak guys deleted some of my mutual fund transactions and they made changes to all other records to show that these deleted transaction never executed, But I have e-mail confirmation and statement to prove that they are wrong. Kotak customer care guys not responding at all from last one month.
