Default Inputs required on Religare Securities

Hi All,

Has anyone used the services of Religare Securities?Their brokerage looks attractive and being a part of Ranbaxy group ensures their credibility.
If anyone is trading through Religare then their inputs will be of great help.

Thanks

Do they have many online clients? Their rates sound alright. But when I visited their offices they told me that they had been in business for six months and if I sign up I will be their second online client.

6 months - 1 online client from this area - Maybe they are not looking for online clients or they are not promoting it enough.

They were supposed to call me back next day. But it has been about two weeks now.

I am online client of Religare (earlier Fortis Securities) for last 2 years, the service they provide is very good, earlier they charge 0.8% brokerage for delivery and 0.08 in intraday but they have reduced it to 0.6 & 0.06 respectively (and it can be further negotiated too), their online software tool (ODIN) is very good, it doesnt have any restriction unlike ICICI direct or indiabulls. But now they charge (for new client) Rs 1800/- for providing this tool (ODIN) and this amount (1800) is adjusted against brokerage in a year. Otherwise you can use browser based tool that is free to use, but not so fast and easy as ODIN.

I am planning to switch from icicidirect to religare.I am a software engg and can't install ODIN in my office computer. So,I'll be using their browser based services. What do you suggest? Are they really bad in comparison to other brokerages? How is it for intra-day trading?

its good for intraday too, i havent faced any probem yet, but sometimes intraday needs fast executions and browser based service may sometimes go slow on slow connections
