Hello,
i am dummies in this case. I have account in Citibank and want to open demat account with them. How is their service? Fine?
How much do they charge?

hello,

i have a demat account with citibank. but they do not have online trading facility and have tied-up with kotak securities to provide online trading. however, the link from citibank website won't work and nobody takes bottom-line to resolve it even after multiple complaints. from kotak side, they are not keen in resolving this and are pushing to open a demat account with them citing that this is a perennial problem !

am really pissed-off with this

Hi there, what is the latest experience with Citibank's tie-up with Kotak Securities? Since I have my banking accounts with Citibank, I'd much prefer to use their banking services even at the cost of a little inconvenience. Does this thread imply that the tie-up does not work at all?

I wanted to transfer my mutual fund units from citibank to icicidirect but it has refused to give me noc for transfering my mutual fund unit which i have in brila sun life invested through citibank they asked me to sell the mutual fund units.

hint them about consumer court: they are just agent & its your money & your units which they are merely holding for you. only thing they can do is charge you some fee for allowing transfer, that too if stated earlier. otherwise they are no one to make you sell your investments against your wish. most probably you will get your way out, if you insist on talking to some one senior in hierarchy.
