Dear Kachhwaha and Mohammed,

Thanks for your clarification. I am glad that you members respond immediately. Good to be part of this forum.

But still, their figures doesn't match the percentages you had mentioned here. Except for the point # 3, I am not clear on the other working. For instance, I give below a scenario :

On NSE during Intra day I:
BUY 20 nos. @ Rs.768.90 and SELL all of them @ Rs. 770.00. As per their calculations the total brokerage is Rs.15.38 & Rs.15.40 @ 0.1% for BUY and SELL resp and:

- Total Transaction charges - Rs. 2.104 (not clear how they calculated)
- Total Service Tax - Rs. 3.766 ( @ 12.24% on brokerage as you noted)
- Securities Trax Tax - Rs. 3.0778 (not clear how they calculated)
- Total stamp duty - Rs.0.91 (not clear how they calculated)

I tried to work out the values based on the % you had mentioned, but in vain. I would be glad if you could resolve and elucidate your observation on the above.

regards
sekar

A New stupid rule by Indiabulls.

For the past few days I have been getting the message "illiquid option cannot process order" or some such nonsense, when I try to put thru an order. Could some one pls enlighten as to what this is all about.
Who has given Indiabulls the right to decide which order they want to process or not.
Anybody else facing this problem ?

Hi Narayan78,

The RM,s are not very well informed and all he can say is that it is a new rule at IB. Will have to visit personally and talk it out with some higher ups and if not resolved may be move to some other broker. I cant afford to have my orders held up just because some half wit at IB has come up with some idiotic rule that no other broker has.

Hello Jinny,

Power IndiabullsTM allows users to set alerts on the Last Traded Price, Volume, %Change, Last Traded Quantity, Bid Price, Bid Quantity, Offer Price, Offer Quantity and the %Price Jump of any scrip or index. Alerts can be set and modified using the Alerts option on the right-click menu of the Market Watch screen. There is no limit on the number of alerts that can be set for a particular scrip or index. When any alert is triggered, a message gets written to Alerts panel of the Message Center at the bottom of the screen, a beep is sounded and the row for that particular scrip or index is highlighted in pink color in the Market Watch window.Alerts are also shown on the Desktop if Desktop alerts are selected.

As far as the possiblity to add a beep or ding or ring sound to TRADE CONFIRMATION POPUP messages , i am sorry but that is not possible in the PIB as of now!!!

Regards
Mohammed Bin Haid

Dear Mr.Mohammed:

Thanks for your prompt response. I've found an indirect way to sound a beep(or any other fancy sound) on trade confirmation. I set an alert as per the bid/buy price of my trade order. When the price is reached, it gives me a nice ring sound (in windows xp). Its gives me an indication that some trade must have been done at that price and i should expect a trade confirmation message. Hope this will prove useful to other members trading in PIB.

thanks and regards,

jinny
