There is no doubt that there charges are lowest in the online brokers. Only question is credibility. Any body opened account with halfpaisa. As per discussion with their partner, it apperas to be genuine.
I am planning to open an account. My existing broker 5paisa is charging 0.015% in F&O with 0.008% transaction charges against 0.005% with 0.006% tr. charges of halfpaisa. Any comment.

I would be interested in opening an account there too but am not sure of their credibility.
Dear pkkothari, did you open your accountn there? If so, can you tell me how is their service and first impressions?

It is not worth taking a risk on our capital. There is already enough risk in the market and there is no point in increasing the risk by going to a broker who does not have the financial strength to withstand a bad market (May22) when broker positions are squared off by the exchange for not meeting margin requirements

I was running some of my background umm... lets say test runs, and found a whopping drawdown per year even if you have a brokerage of 0.03% and take 4 NIFTY F&O trades. You know it comes to around 51k per year, if you do it everyday for 250 trading days.
Brokerage is a huge drawdown dude, anything less is a blessing...
