2 paisa is minimum
hey friends
i have an a\c with fortis.they charge brokerage @0.015% on F&O trades. i bought one lot (15750 shares) of IFCI (strike price Rs 12.50) @ Re 0.70. they have charged Rs 315 as brokerage on this transaction. it should be Rs 32 according to the rate of 1.5 paisa. when i called them up , they replied that they calculated the brokerage as follows (12.50+0.70)*0.015%=0.00198 they said the min brokerage per share is Re0.02. so it comes out to be 15750*0.02=Rs 315. is it fair . plz help me.

Try halfpaisaonly.com. There is no minimum brokerage per trade.
