Broker's credibility and its consequences
Hi
I have just started with trading and I have a trading a/c and a demat a/c with a firm called Vertex securities and they use a software called ODIN for trading. I have a few rookie queries. What happens to my shares in my trading a/c if my broker closes shop ? What happens to the shares in my demat a/c if it happens ? Will someone also let me know about VERTEX ? Hi snowy,
Can you give us more details on vertex securities? Where is it located, its website, etc. I did some digging around anf found that there is a scrip with the same name listed on the BSE (code 531950) which was last traded on 11th July 2002. A website by the name of http://www.vertexsecurities.com/ is down and the domain is registered with Indiatimes. So maybe if you can give us more info like who is your demat agent, etc the other members of this forum may be able to give their inputs.
