If it is HDFC Sec you are referring to then it is a useless piece of software
There is no Demat Balance view available. You have to remeber the stock code ( 6 digit code ) or query on the site since there is no direct link to be able to buy/sell from Demat Balance There is no portfolio tracker so you donot know how much is profit / loss at the time of trade You cannot trade on BSE

Hdfcsec online trading is as good or as bad as Icicidirect, where it takes ages to place an order !!! I am quite happy with Indiabulls. Regards, Karuna

I am also not happy with HDFC Sec. currently i am using indiabulls and HDFC as compare to indiabulls its not good for me... we have to type all sec.. name and have to search...

Hi Guys,
I am dealing with Sharekhan for last 3 years, its great. Check it out, it has all three version, web based wherein you can trade through internet but not streaming quotes, applet based where you can get streaming quote like bse / nse terminal even behind proxy and the exe based version with lot of features Take a demo of sharekhan atleast before deciding. Regards
