Default Dematerialisation and high value shares

Hi,
I have some shares in physical format and I have opened a DEMAT account witht ICICI. WHile submitting the share certificates to ICICI is there any specific thing that I need to take care of. (The present market value of these shares is pretty high.)

Keep a photocopy of the shares with you. And they would give you the stamped and signed acknowledgement for the same. I think that should take care of the things.
