Question Best online broker for low volume long term investor

Hi,
I want to open an online trading account for following usage:
1) Through systematic 2-5 trades every month buy about 30-40K of stock for a 5 year horizon.
2) sometimes subscribe to IPO with few months as investment horizon.

Can someone suggest a good and reliable online brokerage considering low and straight forward brokerage charges, and ease of use. I do not currently have a DMAT account.

Since your trading volume is low, i feel Geojit is best suited as per your need. The brokerages are fixed and are very reasonable. You need not bargain for low brokerages nor will any RM goad you to trade heavily. A descent brokerage house.

Minimum brokerage is Rs. 20 per contract note with Geojit.

Minimum order size is Rs. 1000 with Geojit.

Currently, brokerage is 0.3% for delivery-based buy and sell subject to minimum of Rs. 20.

HDFC Securities is more expensive. Minimum Rs. 25 brokerage per order or 0.5% for delivery.
