Default Axis + Geojit (3 in 1 a/c) or Geojit with any bank?

Dear Traders,

Axis bank with its 3 in 1 a/c offers a savings a/c with a minimum balance of Rs.100 along with trading and DP a/c with Geojit which is an integrated a/c.

The brokerage for delivery is 0.55% if the transaction is <10 lakh per three months. At the same time, if the a/c is directly through Geojit + any bank, the normal brokerage of Geojit is just 0.35 %.

Why do axis charge extra. What are the advantages of having that 3 in 1 a/c?

I don't find any advantage in 3-in-1 a/c... It is better to open an separate acc with brokerage if banks charge more than normal brokerage (in case of geojit, brokerage is .3% on either side of trading in normal case and if it's delivery)...

Regards,
Sats.
