Shucks man. I opened this account (rkg) because icici direct used to pack up often these last few weeks. Now I hope this is not a jump from the frying pan to the fire.

I got my user id and pw today. One thing I realised, they dont give any documentation about their trading software or the backoffice software. You are expected to just hack around and find out

Anyways I hope their software is better than their customer service, otherwise 'Phir gaya bhains pani mein'

Yes, I intend to do that tomorrow again. Today I called up for the back office to find out how to fund my account. Maybe tomorrow will be for how to place an order (Good place to start)

By the way their new version is expected to be released in a few days (again just quoting the sales rep). Hopefully that will be better. One thing I heard from the Angel broking rep is that ODIN Diet does get into a bad mood if you keep too many graphs open.

Is ODIN Java based? If so it wouldn't be too different from Kotak's KEATS, would it?

The DIET version probably doesn't use multithreading, so not really meant for charts And too many of them might create problems.
