Hi guys,
I am new to trading and looking for broker. I read this thread and found RKGlobal good with less brokerage. But before opening an account with them just wanted to clear few queries. Can I know how much brokerage would I be needed to pay both ways(buy, sell) including STT, service tax or any other tax if I buy 1 minifty. Also how much margin I would get to buy 1 nifty/minifty? Thanks arm. Even I am from Pune.
![]() If current sep08 minifty is at 4350 and I buy 1 minifty, I will have to pay rs45 as brokerage with buy and sell(both sides) including taxes? But I also heard they have rs9 a lot plan. http://www.rkglobal.net/Services/WhatWeOffer.asp Could you please put some focus on it? Is brokerage only rs9 if you buy any futures/options? Also is there any claw if we need to trade so much no. in a mnth or so? Last edited by mammu; 29th August 2008 at 12:23 PM. |

Quote:
The figure of 45 that arm mentioned is inclusive everything! i.e. ST/Stamp Duty, TOT+ ST on TOT. If you ask only about brokerage then it is 9 for buying and 9 for selling.... adding the remaining taxes mentioned above it comes to round abt 44.75( approx to 45) Good Luck Regards ps:- there is no commitment of minimum turnover! Thanx milkyblack. But do I need to generate any minimum brokerage/trade?
R K Global looks great, looking forward to opening an account with them. I contacted them with new visitor on there site and I received email with couple of attachments. But still they didn't called me as they stated on there website. Should I wait more? So now whats the next step? I am doing a paper trading from a mnth now and I would mostly prefer nifty and some stocks for short term(week or so). What plan would suit me India Trades @999/super9? Wanted to know which plans you guys have and hows your experience.

No min usage requirements. They charge a fixed monthly amount for software. Depends on which platform you choose web or ODIN.
To open an account call Mumbai office on 022-26361521. or call 9920022247 Happy trading. |

Brokerage Rs. 9 per lot each side. (So Rs. 18 per lot for round trip)
Service tax = 12.36% of brokerage. (Will come to Rs. 2.22 per lot round trip) STT = 0.017% of sell transaction value. NSE charges = 0.0032% of transaction value (Buy + Sell) Service tax on NSE charges = 12.36% of NSE charges calculated above. Stamp duty = 0.002% of transaction value (Buy + Sell) At current levels for one lot of NIFTY total charges for one round trip will come to around Rs. 81. |
