I have kept my future postions open for only few times... did not check the if the accounting was "proper"... but they do have daily ledger... where it shows the details of the margins etc... I would check the details and would post if the a/c was "proper"... actually now I just do intraday... and it is absolutely proper... not a single error in calculations Regards |

For F&O their marketing people once told me that it is 15% or NSE prescribed limit, whichever is higher. |

And today it was too much... they told me that they have increased 10% on the NSE limit... i.e abt 45K(exact 46592!!!)... though when I traded with Sharekhan today it was the same... no increase.... RKG is scared when the market falls Hari Sir, if you have traded with RKG today how much was your margin blocked? Regards |

finally account opened today. but may not fund it. First impressions:
Cant place Mkt orders. When press F1 key goes to qty instead of price. Have to TAB to price - time consuming. Once order entered, Order Book doesn't open by itself. Have to press F3. Many times new orders ARE not reflected. Pressing F3 opens ANOTHER order book. Sometimes all trades are not shown on trade book. To modify/cancel order, select order on order book, Right click, choose option or press Shift+F2/Shift+F3. No button on order entry screen. Bad for a running mkt when anyway I cant place mkt order. (Currently it is a 1 button step for me). Broadcast server refuses to fetch data for symbols once limit of 20 is reached. Cannot put mkt protection %. Of course there are many advantages too: 1. Many mkt watch stretching across monitors. 2. Many order books stretching across monitors 3. Ticks based on conditions. And some others. The question is whether this results giving up 50p on 1000 per lot to save Rs 75. |

Yes, it does take a little time to get used to it. But once that is done it may not be as bad as it seems now. RKG's no documentation no help policy does not help things either. You can use the + and - key for buy / sell instead of F1 or F2. It is better to keep some windows always open. I keep market watch, order book, Net position and the trade book always open. That saves you from opening/closing it again and again. They automatically get updated no refresh required. You can also delete unnecessary columns from the windows or reorder them, so that relevant data is always visibile. All windows can be customised. Once the workspace is set up as you want, save it, so that everything comes up in place when you open it next time. Use File->Save workspace. Then open preferences and set the workspace to load automatically after login. |
