Dear I have account both in Kotak securites and Indiabulls. both are very good service provisers. With Kotak you have many brokrage packages to select from, whereas, in IBulls charges are uniform. With Kotak you can trade in BSE and will IB commodities can be traded (need to fill separate form). With both of these you can apply IPOs online. IBs software (one time charge of Rs 700-) is very easy to operate and I prefer IB only for this single reason.
regards.

Thumbs down Never Ever Go for Motilal Oswal

Hi

Never ever go for Motilal Oswal.
They do not provide online IPO/MF trading.
In a digital age, still they prefer paper work and want you to knock their doors physically Did a mistake myself by going for Motilal Oswal through SBI's eZTrade@SBI.

Thanx

Hi,

I am holding online trading account #XXXXX with indiabulls.

I have submitted application for removal of UTI Bank Account number XXXXXXXXXXXXX from my indiabulls trading account to Mr. Vikas Singh (09960652122), Koregoan Branch,Pune more than eight weeks back. There is pile of dividend cheque came in the name of UTI bank and number is increasing.

Mr. Vikas Singh (branch manager) took two weeks to send his person to collect filled application to my place. My place is just 3km away from your koregoan office. Mr. Avinash (reports to Mr. Vikash Singh) finally came to my place and collected the application along with dividend cheques and assured that UTI bank number will get removed from my trading account as well as he will get new dividend cheques within 7 working days.

After five weeks, I called Avinash regarding my application and my dividend cheques, he don't have any clue about it. So I called Vikas. Everytime I called vikas , he kept telling me that he will revert back to me soon with update but he never.

So I called Mr. Krishna Yadav 093710321766 (Mr.Vikas Singh reports to him) asked for status of my application & cheques. He put everybody in the hierarchy for conference call asking for update. Nobody have any clue about the application & dividend cheques.

Mr. Krishna yadav said they have forwarded the application and it will get processing in next 7days.

After 10days, I called Mr. Krishna and asked for status he said he will need another two days.

After another three days, I finally decided to send this email as there is no progress. Even before sending this email I called Mr. Krishna, he refused to give me email ID of his supervisor. When I asked why he is not giving, there was no answer.

So what's my experience with Indiabulls.

1. Most of people in Indiabulls (Avinash, his manager Vikas, and branch manager Mr. Krishna) are big slugs.
2. They don't value customer, his time & money.
3. They are seating on my application & cheques since last 3months.
4. They don't have shame, even after I telling that they are most useless people I have ever worked with, they always proved it right.
5. Even I told them, that I will calling their manager in mid night, they are shameless and hopeless.
6. I have more than 10 cheques in the name of UTI bank account and number is increasing. No help from anywhere.

So what I decided.
1. Open another account with other broker.
2. Close indiabulls account,.
3. If possible, make the life of all mentioned slugs miserable.
4. Make sure Indiabulls loose more business by putting this email on blogs.

I will appreciate, if you send this email to all your top managers and owner of the business.

This help them to save their business which they are losing due some wrong employee.

Regards,

Nitin

For demat a/c service fees should only be for selling transactions. Dont be fooled by sales people of any of the banks or investment banks. I have the scottrade a/c in USA, i never had to pay any processing fee, inactivity fees and anual fees. Only time they charged me a fee when i bought or sold the shares. Their transaction fee was lowest even in USA. Everytime i called i did not have to wait. Everytime i went to their office they solved my problem then and their. So look for investment bankers who provide these.

Cheating is in the air everywhere in India be it banks, cell phone, sms, internet, food, coupons etc service providers. Airtel swallowed my balance every time i missed to recharge their so called 10 days grace period. HDFC bank drained all my savings because my quarterly average balance went less than Rs. 5000. They never bothered to inform me and later even closed the a/c arbitrarily. My suggestion is never go to such banks. When you call them and they keep you waiting best is close the account. When you open an a/c, dont accept any undue fines clauses and one time processing fees etc. Remember by opening an a/c, they are not obliging you instead you are obliging them.

I am NRI settled in USA and wat to invest in India stock market.

I have opened NRE, PIS, DEMAT Accounts with HDFC bank.
However they are not ready to do stocks trade for USA residents.

Is there a decent broker with whom I can do online trades ?
I mean someone who does online trading for NRI's.
