I think right now Religare (a Ranbaxy promoter group company) is the best option for online trading.. They have the best features and facilities with most competitive prices.

hello trader31339

see i really dont know what exactly happened in that case.. but all i can say is whatever be the problem, it should be sorted out n any faults on either side would be rectified.. my experience with Religare is very good n i have got all that i desired for. moreover in the recent past indiabulls, karvy and others were blacklisted by the SEBI, so why do people still go there??
i would like to add one more thing here, since its online trading, its much more transparent and problems would be much lesser compared to offline.

so just to answer your question, i would still recommend religare 'cos they have built that trust in me that if there was any problem there, i believe it would be rectified and the customer would not suffer.

thanks.

How much does UTI SECURITIES charge for intraday? Is it .01% on turnover/or difference in selling price and buying price/or on both legs?
Also for their super trading platform/ .exe software what is the min. brokerage criteria?
Do you find religare better than uti securities?

Now coming to main topic of the day...

Its form last few months that I have gained very much interest in stock markets (and CNBC Tv18 has to be given credit for that atleast in part)...

so eventually i decided to take the plunge...

but chhosing the online broker is really tough for a novice like me who has heard a lot but has never actually traded himself really.....

I have taken demo of sharekhan; 5piase and icicidirect..... so far

5paise is not affordable to me as minimum 800 rs per month has to be paid by me which is not suitabel for me as a beginner as i am yet to learn the basics well to really invest heavily....

sharekhan seems nice but then they no BSE trading (i hope i am not wrong)

and icicidirect has very high brokerage charges and the bad reputation in reality as is evident here....

about indiabulls as fas as i have understood we need to pay to purchase software and about kotak i have no idea..............

I would like all the great people here to share thei wisdom in helping me to start out which service should i opt for u...........

hopefully once i learn the basics then only i will be able to contibute meaningfully to discussions here but now it seems i need more help.......

thanks and regards,

sunando

---------------------

plz dont just say which service to opt without justifying as to why u think it should be opted.......thank u

sunandoghosh@rediffmail.com
U SHOULD OPT FOR 5PAISA THERE IS NO 800 RS PER MONTH CHARGES

Hi srideep,
What is the brokerage structure offered by Religare--in the cash and derivative segment? Thanks

Anybody interested in opening Demat accounts

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi friends........i m Rishi Mitruka pursuing MBA from ICFAI Business School, Bangalore and as a part of my course curriculum i m doing my project in ICICI Direct.com, whereby i am marketing the Demat accounts. And [i]BELIEVE ME its absolutely free for the people having salary account in ICICI BANK. And above that, there is no maintenance charges for the first year. U can give it a try. And if u don't like it u can close it in mean time, that also absolutely free.

Its a complete portal whereby u can invest in shares, Mutual Funds, IPO's, Postal savings, Derivatives, Commodities and Insurance. And for starters MF and IPO's is the best option (for both these there is no brokerage, u can trade freely).

Anybody interested can contact me at ur convenience. My mail id is:
rishi.ibs@gmail.com or call me at (91)98440 96746.

So I think wid highest market share, Brand value, trust, extensive reports on websites, demos, opportunity to invest in so many things mentioned above wid just a single demat accounts and special classes offered to the demat account holders throughout the country on saturday's n sundays ICICI DIRECT.COM is the best

Thanking you

Rishi Mitruka
