Surprise of all surprises here ICICIDRIECT is the most favoured online trading portal with 36 votes as per opinion poll and even Traderji had voted for it.This is despite most of the forum members have low opinion of ICICIDIRECT . Any reason for it. Sharekhan and Indiabulls are neck to neck with 33 votes. Regards Pankaj

Hi,
The reason being very simple. No matter how much people make complains and how much you cry with its bad services when it comes of holding your long and very long positions in demat and the facilites of 3 in one account makes it more easy and one feels safe. with Long term investors Demat is the main issue after signing in the POA who the hell on this earth will never get nighmares who knows........ and ICICI is a bank not a broker who will be interested with you shares.... Take the case of an Investor who one fine day found his 5000 blue chip company shares gone from Indiabulls DP and his 1 crore value left over was just 300 RS. so I still feel safe with my long and very long even medium term positions in ICICI. As far trading goes i have a fast on line broker but only for trading and taking short delivery. ANY THING ELSE..... Regards, gold_ranjit

If sharekhan is providing you the above brokerage without any comittment of volumes or brokerage, alongwith free trading platform( ie no monthly charges) then you can consider sharekhan.Else play blind go with indiabulls. NB:The brokerage rates mentioned above are their base rate so you dont have to apply any maska palish for them.They will themself offer yo the above mentioned rates without any negotiation from your side.

Check utisecurities provided by UTI bank. They are providing tradeanywhere.exe for trading brokerage is 0.5 paisa one side for square off type and 0.40 paisa for delivery..... they provide UTI bank zero balance acoount trading account and DP account for amount Rs. 300 only..
