Which is the best Online Broker for Investors (not traders)
Dear All,
This is a wonderful site and I have been reading through the recommendations for online brokers. Most of the recommendations are for people who do a lot of trading including day trading. I plan to start investment in the stock market but have no plans of doing day trading. I will be grateful if you can guide me to the brokers with the least charges for delivery based trading and hopefully no annual charges. I would prerfer a web based client for trading. Also reommendations for the cheapest demat account will be useful. Thank you, Amiava

Your post title says "Which is the best Online Broker for Investors (not traders)" a possible answer to that is icicidirect.
Your post itself says something else "I will be grateful if you can guide me to the brokers with the least charges for delivery based trading. Also reommendations for the cheapest demat account will be useful." I don't know the answer to that part, as brokerage can be negotiated for many of the smaller brokers Last edited by marcus; 8th March 2008 at 04:21 AM.
