guide the beginner
Hi,
i am totally new to investments.just starting my journey to explore financial world.At this stage i am totaly confused and i seek all your help and suggestions. kindly help me in following areas 1) which brokerage house can i choose. ? i expect one with good customer service and relationship and reasonable brokerage charges. 2) can i choose trading through brokerage house or online trading? i won't be buying or selling everyday. my aim is long term investment in mutual fund, equity and IPO.

HDFC Securities might be a good idea.
P.S: I trade somewhat regularly tho, and hence have not opted for them. Just in case you think I am recommending something I am not into myself
