-- Regarding listing in demat account --
Hi everyone
The question I am asking may be silyfor all of you out here, but please help me considering that I'm just a beginner. I have opened a demat account with Axis Bank, and today, 6 days after submitting the forms, I call up my bank and they inform me that my demat account has been opened and give me the 8-digit NDSL ID. But when I check the demat account option in my personal internet banking service, they claim that no demat account has been opened as of yet. In the form, I had clearly mentioned by Internet Banking User ID and of my intentions to trade online. So are things normal and it takes time for demat account to show up, or should I get things clarified with the bank? Please reply. -Ali
