Have just applied for an account and have noted the following: a. Initial Registration charges - Non-Refundable - 450/- b. First Year Demat charges: 0/- c. Demat charges - 2nd year on - 400/- d. Delivery: 0.20% (Only Selling) e. Intra-day: 0.03% (Only Selling) f. Advance Brokerage: 3 months - 750/- * At the end of three months, whatever brokerage you have generated gets refunded, subject to a maximum of 750/- only. So that effectively makes it free trading. Following three monhths, you will only pay for as much brokerage as much as you trade. g. No minimum monthly brokerage committments! h. Tie up wid ICICI bank giving free zero balance Savings account. i. Demat account creation time - 4 days (as reported) I am being a bit touchy abt it since the brokerage rates are at a market low, but I'd see to see this as their plan to capture markets and the trades on them. It aint easy to pull it back from de Sharekhans and Indiainfolines and ICICI. And yes, did I mention the s/w is free?

Hi members,
Their software "pointer" is just another 5paisa's "trader terminal". I am trying the same on trial basis and the greats of reliance and icici are nowhere near it. option segment: Rs. 50 per contract or.75% of premium, whichever is higher. (They are not clear about intraday squaring off will be charged for only one leg or not) Basudeo

hi unicorn,
As i am using it on trial basis so I am not allowed to trade. If u have sufficient money u can always convert it to delevery.

Hi nicorn,
There seems number of servers like server1,2,3......etc. Straming quotes are realtime and updating in real time. Certainly u will enjoy the experience in trading with them provided their brokerage rates and terms and conditions suit u. Software is alright. basudeo

Today i rang the Mumbai Office of Ventura securities Ltd , they told me that they have started online share trading through their software/terminal Pointer. Can anybody confirm this.
