any broker offering NEAT terminal?
Hi All,
i would like to know if any broker is offering NEAT terminal for personal trading? if not NEAT then ODIN Direct [ not the client ] atleast. would like to know charges for the same [ one time as well as recurring ]. thanks

Dont be foolish. The NEAT is for brokers only and is tied to a particular address (postal address i.e. the brokers office address). Its illegal to install it anywhere else. How will he give it to a client?

there is nothing foolish in this AFAIK. NEAT is offered to sub-brokers as well. if anybody is expecting either volume commitment / fix charge i can negotiate on that. i see dont see any reason for not offering a proposal.

i dont know much about the neat terminal. what i know that neat is a system which connects brokers to keep live contacts in beetween clients & stock exchange. for that purpose brokers are using odin terminal which support neat system. after this thread i feel my knowledge was wrong. can someone/s put some light on it.

I am desperately looking for NEAT terminal to punch orders. I am high volume trader. I need NEAT terminal. I already own ODIN.
I can go to broker office and punch the orders, if the broker offers me NEAT terminal. Moreover, I am NSE Certified professional. Any Broker can provide me a NEAT terminal to punch the orders in the broker office?. Please help me with the Brokers details or NSE members those can offer me the NEAT thermal?.

Some brokers may allow you a NEAT dealer terminal if your daily volume is more than 2 crores. However they cannot let you install it at your home as it is "illegal". The NEAT terminal is tied to the "postal address" of the broker. You can directly contact the broker with your proposal of a dealer terminal. But you will then have to go to his office daily to punch in your orders.
However most of them can give you ODIN for installation at home. ODIN is a client of NEAT.
