Default Can i use one demat account with two brokers

I have one Demat account with anand rathi. I have also signed PoA for trading etc. i.e. Anand rathi is both my DP as well broker.
Currently i am sale/ purchase the shares through Anand rathi only.
Now i want to change my broker from Anand rathi to a Local broker but i dont want to open a new demat account.
Can i use the anand rathi demat account for transacting through the local broker?

You can use the same demat account with other broker. when submitting DI slip to the other broker for selling/buying provide your demat details in that.

Hi!

You can trade from both brokers with same demat a/c but one thing that you need to check with other broker with which you do not have demat a/c is the extra charges, because in some cases if u use demat a/c of other firm they charge extra charges.
