hi!
i am a newbie to the stocks market and would very much liked to be help regarding a matter. i have an account with sharekhan. i bought a share of telco...2 days later i sold it. now in the digital contract notes i can understand the various brokerage charges, service tax, securities tax, ecucation ces...etc.. however on selling..i hav been charged an xtra 12.5 bucks under the statement MINIMUM DELIVERY CHARGES? i dont get it... i sold the share at 771 ...however i was credited with 752 bucks only?? plz help me understand..bye |

how do u think ur broker can afford his mercedes?
Actually many brokers have a minimum that they will charge u In fact, some brokers will charge a minimum per contract like 25 rs so even if u traded for 100 rs, the min brokerage charged will be 25 rs which works out to 25 % so, its like that |

well if dats the case..
i am going to have start trading good quantities.... thnx a lot neways.. P.S:is it true the minimum quantitiy for no min delivery charge is rs 4000? |

i normally do trade in delievery but first time i use margin option it was good in the bullish rally i traded in some counters and bought a high quantity which i normally cant do in delivery it seems nice to me to take profit out but i earned about 750 rs. after all transaction but after sattlement there was debited approx 400 rs. so i want to know which kind of extra charges or interest rate was applied to finish my 350 rs.and how is it calculated
