Default Kotaksecurities' customer service gone to the dogs?

I've been trying to get Kotak to answer a few queries and there's not a SINGLE response. I'm beginning to suspect that when you fill that "Solve your queries" form, it simply deletes the query but gives you a reference number to make you feel OK. I'm very frustrated!

Has anyone else experienced this??

Also, some of the phone numbers they have on the "Contact us" forms are wrong!

How do I make those jerks respond? My guess is that the only way to get customer service is to have an inside friend whom you can call directly.

It is not the single broker house available in India. Transfer your account to some otherbroker house whose services are best.

Indiabulls/Indiainfoline are some names.

hi
iam with kotak for 7 years from their early years of online trading
never had any major problem
y, i had some minor problems , lanbasted them , they responded nicely

overall , their service is the best in indusrty .

their "solve your query " is the best in the industry

if u feel, its bad , then others are worst , this is what i can say ,

i have accounts in religare/sharekhan/rel money /5paisa - i can say that none can match kotak in this .

may be , they would have replied little late , thats all . if its urgent ,they do it soon

anwyay , i had no problem frankly. indeed they are voted as best brokerage many times .

will your solve my problem on behalf of kotak ....ask them why they dedicted money ...they absorbed my money for the trasanction which is not done ...second ...they billed twice for same trasaction ..i have been telling them since past 6 months ...they smiply don't give reply....

the very next day of mistake i brought to there notice ...non tried to reply

my question to them was ...show me contract note ...for which they dedcuted money.

what i did ...i wrote many times they didn't reply ...so i stopped trading with them.

due to lack of time people can't hang over to them ...so they take adavantage of it.

i too had big problem with kotak for mutual funds.

i had purchased 28K rupees mutual funds but after six months they started showing only 24K worth of transactions. i am showing all types of proofs including their statements but they are not listening.
i thought I gave 4K as donation to kotak and stopped trading with them.

these online brokerages are fine as long as there is no problem with them. once problem comes they are not bothered to solve.

Many a time, I read simple questions and answers or comments instead of discussion on serious issues. If one person finds services of Kotak is poor, not necessarily the others also should find it and try to negate his opinion. The person had simply expressed his experience with Kotak. Others need not comment on it. I do hv experience with Kotak's housing loan. I had written an article long back purely with the intention of educating others, so that they do not fall victims not only with Kotak but anywhere when they look for Hsg. loan. As I found that their services from hsg. loan dept. is worst, I avoid even looking at Kotak Securities just to boycot it, inspite of the fact that I am in search for a good broking house. I hv decided to boygot Kotak's MF. This is the only way we can teach lesson to the group. Their CEO's should investigate into the working of each dept. and punish the culprits. If any of the CEO's from Kotak would like to personally question me about my experience, I am ready to oblige with the information, provided they give me written assurance that they will book the culprit.

Overall, reputation of many companies are spoiled by insincere staff. 'Kotak' is a reputed name. But it seems that their staff do not hv job training.

Most of us, consumers are always at receiving end.

its bad to hear this
it happens with all brokerages , we have to be vigilant always with all debit details . they may commit some errors
none is expection , even kotak
i had also some problems with kotak , but for me , they solved it ......
its sad to know that , they made u loss of 4 k , really bad , why did u leave it ?
u should have lambasted them , u could have lodged compliant also with any higher ups , but many dont have that much time to do so .

thats the problem with large brokerages , they dont care ,much if u have a large issue .
in religare ,iam able to interact freely thru mails now, i mean personal mails to their execs , they are cooperative .

we should be careful in all debits by broekrs , they make mistakes sometimes, we have to correct
such ledger srong entries happed in kotak for me too .
anyway , got it rectified .
Not even a single online share broker is reliable 100 %
we have to choose the best only , whoc is reliable max .
kotak for me is ok , share khan also , 5paisa too .

each brokerage lack in certain services - its common. none is 100 % perfect .

now , iam new to religare , have to observe them .

r u trading online with kotak ?
yes, sometimes they do mistakes , take the matter directly with mumbai people . none of broekrages are 100 % perfect .
i too had problems with ktak ,sometimes, but luckily they solved it .
its all luck .. for some clients , it happens , none of broekrages are truly great .
p.s - iam not voicing for kotak , i have 3-4 accounts with various brokers ,feel kotak service is best , it depends upon each individual.

my suggestion
check the ledger entries daily ....thats the best we can do
you have to be vigilant , afterall its your own hard earned money .
any discrepancies , mail them
they dont entertain discrepancies after 30 days , its normal procedure with all brokerages

How is it possible to have 3-4 accounts ?
Tell me how will u do that and what are the benifits?
