uti securites
I want to open account in uti securities. My objective (long time) investment, not (daily) trading. Requesting suggestions / views from members who have account with uti securities. Thanks.

assume that you bought shares worth rs.5000 & your brokarage charges is 0.05/per leg for intraday. then you have to pay around rs.8 (including service tax, stt & other charges). but with uti you have to pay at least rs.25 for the particular trade. but you are a long term investor, so you can try them. but the same case will be happen there also (minimum brokarage rs.25/scrip).

Ya i also suggest the same thing. In ICICIDirect also we are facing similar problem.
I am now trying out ShareKhan And Kotak Securities Ltd. These guys have competitive brokerages.
