hello friends ,my account is with indiabulls,earlier they charged brokerage @0.03% on strike price+premium,but lately they started to charge brokerage @2.5% on premium amount with minimum charge of Rs.100.Is the same practice followed by other brokers also and whether it is right or not.please share ur thoughts.

Yes. You Are Right. You Can Tell Them To Reduce Brokerage To O.o1% On Strike+premium . However Nse Guidelines Tell To Charge Brok Only On Premium. To Circumvent This Rule They Have Increased The Percentage Brokerage Accordingly So That They Stand To Lose Nothing On Account Of Brokerage And The Poor Customer Is Cheated.
I Suggest You To Contact Religare . They Give Brok Of O.o1 % On Strike+premium, Which Is Far Attractive Than Indiabulls. Jaggy |
