the legitimate way to trade the US markets is to open up a day trading account with a recognized broker like etrade, ameritrade, etc..
the rule says: $25k to be deposited as margin.. and you get 4 times buying power to trade. And generally the commissions would be per trade (would be like $5, $7, etc etc).
However professionals like us never use these expensive brokers.
we go through direct access brokers.. real time trading connecting to the floors of nyse.
we trade on per share basis..
like 50-60 cents per 100 share...
plus we trade on real time softwares... etc etc..
access to massive buyin powers on less margin..
