Online Payment Gateway facility just saved me!!
Sometimes, good luck comes to your rescue during helpess situations.
Currently, I am working with Retail MNC as a Marketing Manager and maintain trading account with Indiabulls. During the recent bloodbath in the stock market, I was called upon one day by Atul (my RM in Indiabulls) about the insufficient margin and asked me to fill-in the account immediately to avoid dilution of my portfolio. At that time, I was in Chandigarh on tour and was not in a position to hand him out the cheque as normal broking house demand during such situations. Aghast!! I asked him the way to help me out. He asked me whether I maintain a savings a/c with ICICI, HDFC or IDBI since Indiabulls provide instant transfer funds facility with these banks. Thank God!! I said instantly, since I maintain regular savings a/c with HDFC. I found one cybercafe near to my conference venue from where I logged on to their trading website and transferred funds to my trading account instantly. Friends!!! My main objective is to share my first hands-on experience with new technology that have helped in maintaing my trading account more efficiently than before. Dropping a cheque and waiting for 2 days to get it cleared are the things of passe. You can now use Online Payment gateways offered by your Stock Broker (especially if you are associated with big broking houses) to transfer funds instantly. So, next time if you face the similar situation that I faced few days back, don't haste... Just log in online and transfer money easily. Friends!! Do share your views if you too have faced such intersting situations while trading. ANd yes before I say Saayo-Nara!! I would like to say thanks to Traderji for creating this unqiue platform for Indian investors and I mjst say "Traderji you are doing a great job!!!!!"

Hi I have also used the payment gateway facility of Indiabulls. it really is amazing and makes the trading experience totally seamless . I initiallly had a hitch in using the payment gateways but once i have started using it, i only transfer funds using the gateway only. the biggest advantage is that my funds get transferred instantly and at any hour. i am no longer dependent upon the bank for getting my funds cleared. I would recommend all indiabulls users to use the payment gateways by indiabulls. they are currently offering it for HDFC, ICICI and IDBI bank.

No I guess the payment gateway facility provided by India bulls is very useful, it provided us with the benefits of making hassle free online transfer of funds.

Its good that you were saved. But these net banking options are very limited. Certain investors including myself may not have either of IDBI, ICICI or HDFC Account. Atleast Axis Bank and Citibank is required because customer base of these banks is also considerable. Nowadays some gateway providers give multiple payment options, which may be useful for such service providers which ultimately leads to customer satisfaction. Not sure much but have heard about www.ebs.in giving multiple payment options. Anyways hope to see best aspect of e-commerce in near future.
