Default Anybody Trading Intrday in ICICI

HI all. Can anybody whos tradiing intrday in Cash, how much brk is charged to u actualy. Is it 0.5 on both legs or 0.5 per leg.

The site states
"Second leg of intra day square off transaction in cash will not be charged any brokerage".
Does this apply to margin trading also???

to my best knowledge its for f&o only. the second leg brokerage is waived only if one mark the same as cash, and not as margin. in that case the brokerage is awfully high (0.75% + taxes, both sides)

again, the problem is they wont let you short sell in the cash market. its a big handicap.

if you are trading F&O and if you square off the same day the brokerage is .05% for the buy leg and zero for the sell leg. But if you do not square off the same day then this is not applicable and the sell leg would be charged .05%.

This feature is not available for equties-margin segment. In margin you will be charged .05% for buy leg and .05% for sell leg for intraday trades.

cheers

The point is U can buy a share in cash market for a brokerage .75% and if u sell on the same day no brokerage for selling side.So what does it mean is that u have to pay .9668% of ur capital inclusive of all taxes to tradin intraday and twice the same if carried in delivery.
There is no sellside brokerage in ICICI or even GEOJIT (don't know about others) if u sell on the same day.Just for ur info Geojit charges .3% without any volume commitment(.4785% inclusive of all taxes)
cheers,

hi Zuljana,
it is true that it wont start immdtly after market starts but it is not 15-20 min as u told.

u will not find option "margin" if u try to buy thru "buy" or "Fast buy/Sell"

But u can place order thru "basket order" witin 5 min of starting. pls try if u havn't.
