Default ICICI Direct - resubmission of documents

Hi All,

I got a bunch of mails from ICICI saying that their document storage was flooded and they want me to go to the bank and resubmit! First they act irresponsibly with improper storage of important document, and then they want me to take the pains of collecting all those documents and going to the branch to submit.

Did others on this group get those mailers?

From Bangalore. I am with them only because of convenience of having bank, broker and mutual funds all linked together with online access. Yes, I also had to submit PANs numerous times.

I have also received it twice.
Actually, there was no flodding loss and all. It's all to cover their improper documentation which is coming into fore after the SEBI directive.

I have asked for compensation for loss of my papers and have not submitted my PAN. I will go to consumer forum when they block my access.

Best Regards,

I am totally unhappy with icicidirect.even I got a message from them that the original documents were damaged I need to fill it again.I have stopped trading in their web site long time back.I am planning to close my account as well.

You will not believe me I submitted my PAN proof 3 times twice visiting their branch.I am not sure what they do with the documents.During initial days I suffered,as my orders would be in submitted state & remained till the market closed.Later these orders would get expired. They would have consumed all my margins & hence it did not allow me to place fresh orders.Neither I could cancel those orders. This was happening for quite some time & eventually I switched over to sharekhan.

ICICIDIRECT being one of the costliest brokerage firms in India(delivery 0.75%) I do not see any reason why one should trade using their web site.Guyz it is time to call quits to ICICIDIRECT

I had same fighting for the submitting of the PAN card.
Their executive (female, which is a bad thing, who will be responsible if something go wrong ) came at my home I had given him a copy , again visited their bank , consistant follow up for a month or so still they block my ID. Later I just fire them then they have started my account...
if you want to fire them send ur mail to helpdesk@icicidirect.com & if you want to increase the intensity send to coo@icicidirect.com
ICICI irritates while tradding on the site so I settle with Indiabulls & geojit...
