I'm using PowerIndiabulls for last 8 months. I've also subscribed to R K Global after watching its ad on CNBC.

R K Global charges Rs. 9.00 only per trade as brokerage. That is cheaper than
Reliance Money. And, yes, also same brokerage on ODIN client.

(R k global seems to get their live data feed from same source as Indiabulls PIB as both of their live quotes change at same moment and exactly by same numbers)

I see your contract note they did not charge anything else. It's great, there are so meny days and so many transactions you done in that. It any hidden charges are their ? If not so then It is great one

I do not understand how Rs.9/- per trade is cheap. Apparently this may be cheap only when traded quantity is huge. But India Bull charges brokerage proportionately to value which some times is lower than even a Rupee, for small quantity.

If Reliance Money introduces new trading s/w and improves serive, no one can beat it. But at current level, it has only spoiled the name of Reliance. It has worst s/w and customer service.

Question Re: Cheapest & Competent Brokerage

Reliance Money: I have heard from pretty much every one in this forum that they are the worst. So, I have decided to stay away.

Question: I am still trying to understand why Rs. 9 is cheaper than lets say .03% (3 paise) offered by other broerages. If I understand this right, this is 9 Rs per lot not just a flat rate of Rs 9 for ANY lot. Can some body care to enlighten me here? Am i missing some thing?

Example: for .03% or 3 paisa for NIFTY would be 50 (lot size) X 4737 (Market close for Nifty) X .0003 = Rs 71.055 per side

I guess the same trade with RK global would be Rs 9 flat rate.

Am I correct?
or
is it Rs 9 X 4737 (Market Close in Nifty) X .0009 = 213.165
I am really lost. Can some one illustrate with clear examples for any futures contract or number of shares so we all can be on the same page? Thank you very much.
