hello can traderji and other senior members please explain the brokerage structure of icicidirect.com?
icici charge 0.75%, for delivery, is it changed while buying and again fr selling at a later time? so it becomes ultimately 1.5%?!! or is it just charged just fr buying? so it is 0.375%? indiabulls/5paisa chargin 0.3%, i guess they charge when i buy and again when i sell, so total is 0.6(apprx)?? is that right? more over icici do not have any dp transaction charges for buy or sell, while others have!! so ultimately if keeping the minimum balance is not an issue, is icici a better deal? please explain and corect me where am i wrong. thanks and regards |

Hi
Icicidirect Is The Most Expensive 0.75% + Taxes. It Is Almost 0.85%. If U R A Heavy Trader I Advice U Not To Trade In Icici. India Bulls Or 5 Paisa Is The Cheapest Or U Can Go In For Reliance Money If They R Open In Your City. Happy Tradering |

i have made some calculations , based on sum of Rs 10,000/- ;buy and sell.
FOR ICICI: if brokerage on both selling and buying @.75% = Rs 75(buy) + Rs 75(sell) = 150 plus STT and service tax = ~.25%, so for both buying and selling =25+25 =50 icici bank has no transaction charges and nsdl fee is included in brokerage, so total money i need to give on buying and selling = 150+50= 200 FOR 5 PAISA: brokerage@.25% fr buy and sell = 25+25=50 plus debit transaction charge(min)= 50 no charge fr credit transaction. STT and taxes@.25 both buy and sell = 50 so total cost is 50+50+50=150 FOR INDIABULLS: brokerge@.25 buy and sell = 25+25=50 transaction charge (sell) =7 no transaction charge fr buy STT and taxes almost same =50 total= 107 but i dont know if 5 paisa and india bulls charge seperately fr nsdl/cdsl charges, which is included in icici brokerage!! pls explain and corect me. |

Friends,
I think we are forgetting Geojit. I have recently open a demat account with Geojit. Though their delivery & intraday charges are little higher than Indiabulls(But Indiabulls needs volume a lot). Which Geojit doesn't need. There charges are as follows.. Delivery 0.30% Intraday 0.03% FnO 75 per contract + 10 Rs flat per trader for sell. Another thing I heard is that their software is not good but I have decided to see quotes in Indiabulls & will make the transaction in Geojit. Thanks, Milind |
