You can start with John Murphy - Technical analysis of financial markets..
It's a very good book and clearly explains all concepts.. |

Hi,
I have been trading for three months. I have experimented with various startegies ranging from ratio anlysis to chart readings. Now, i feel the need to consolidate on some systematic approach. Could someone suggest readings or startegies to start with ?? Thanks. |

Quote:
1 ) Trading by the Book --- By Joe Ross. (i will buy the book in case you dont like it..Gurantee) 2) In case you feel dis satisfied with the above book, go for Mastering the trade -- Carpenter. I know both the books are more for futures. But it will help you none the less. |

Dont listen to binngung. Candlesticks or any technical training should come after you have learned the basics of the market mechanics such as bid and ask, auction market vs dealer market. You have to walk before you can run. Start at the start and take your time. Preservation of capital is key and you dont' want to waste money not knowing the basics. |
