hi, I am also new and want to know the best one to have DEMAT+Trading Account.

The best online trading platform as of today is ICICIDIRECT, wherein u open three A/c One Trading, One Bank a/c with ICICI bank and one Demat A/c with ICICI bank. The site has very good content w.r.t charts, fundamentals and also gives good online education regarding trading. Also it recomends good trading as well as Ivestment stocks to build your portfolio. U can have all investments options under one roof like Stock trading, MF, Insurance, Fixed Income etc etc. So I strongly recommed ICICIDIRECT.com for best online trading site. pushky18

	I opened a demat account through Geogit services and also got trading code etc.But my query is how can I get symbol for equities and how I can come to know which shares are better.I am new to this field

There are other cases surfacing, showing unethical activities of Geojit. Geojit is facing a trial in court for cheating a client, if what i heard is correct. This person has filed a case against a director of geojit for cheating. Shares worth millions of rupees were being traded in a fraudulent demat account opened through Geojit it seems.Cases are proceeding in high court and CJM court in Kerala. sk
