Information required on Dividend and Bonus

Hello Everybody.

I am just a beginner in Equity trading. Please clarify,

>> when will the Dividend be declared for the stocks. Is there any specific time period.

>> How long should one must be holding the stocks for getting the Dividends

>> Also please provide some information on BONUSES ..
