Hii,
Its good to hear that you want to trade, and forex is a great platform to learn.
I mostly trade in international commodities on Indian and forex platform too. I also have some clients overseas which I'm helping to learn and trade. To start with you can read some of my threads where I gave some basics to trade in forex. It takes a lot of time to get hang of markets, but since you have time and have other source of income, it will be comparatively easy for you to learn it over the time. About demo its good initially but its useless coz of two things - 1st it is not real money so actual performance is way different than on demo account, 2nd which most of us overlook is that demo account is usually created with around minimum 50k$ margin, so trading on it changes completely, you'll not learn real money management margin pressures drawdown of money from it.

Priya46,

If you want to learn forex (or swing trading), for one of the best places to do : Google Nial Fuller or Learn to trade the market dot com (removes spaces)

Click on the tab articles, and you will find a lot of good stuff written in a simple manner.

Good luck.

so you have bcom a doctor recently and are looking to put the effort that should go into your profession into something else.. dont you think that's unfair to both your profession and the patients you will be treating ??
i personally would never go to a doctor whoz interest is in some other place...

Dont teach me rules....btw emails are exchanged in this way in and out everyday in every thread without putting dots in between, so lets keep that go by the rules to yourself, as we all know how many people go by the rules ever made really by themselves.....:D

And marketing?? hun, i offered help btw, and its called networking. I'm trading happily and trading is my passion and I'm helping anyone who is interested in commodities or forex. And yes I talk straight what I do and will be doing rather than doing with pm's...lol, so buzz off.

Thanks everyone for being responsive.

the daytime job that i put into my patients,i entirely devote that time to patients. trading is more like a part time hobby for me now, which may have good potential.i am interested in trading bcos i do feel need for a job from home comfort & good payout.it has nothing to do with neglecting my patients.

i work sincerely while i work, then if there's any residual energy left after long duty i try to learn trading.
