Need to create Excel

Hi Guys,

I want to create an excel for Nifty/Sensex stocks and retrive YTD/yearly and monthly performance. It should be refreshed daily EOD.

Can some one please help me.

Its not that difficult, just explain your formula about performance and then will be very easy to create an excel.

I want to create an excel which download historical data for a no of stocks from a specified date till today EOD.

First of all you make sure you have historical data as downloading it is a lengthy process and also the data needs to be adjusted for Splits, bonuses etc.

After this only you can calculate any performance you needed.

But Yahoo finance provides adjusted data, If I can download that from Yahoo fin. then I guess it should be fine

In this page check at the bottom, there is an option "Download to Spreadsheet", from here you can download historical prices.
