I bought shares worth 98,700 something yesterday but i had exactly 99,000 in my dmat account. at that time it show me that my transaction was complete.

But today i received a mail with the summary saying my balance is negetive because i forgot to account for brokage charges.

What will happen to my order now, will it be cancelled or atleast it wil allow partial purchase?? My dmat account is with sbicapsec.

please Please Please reply!

Regards,

Nothing will happen dont worry... u might already got the call from your broker to add the money to the account , if not try to transfer the money before they sell your shares.

Transfer the balance to your account to make it positive. Call the broker and let them know you are going to do that ASAP.

If you are an old customer and the broker is not too new, I think they will not sell your shares for brokerage of a few hundred rupees. I think you should have been able to sell some of those shares today (or tomorrow latest). Probably the max risk is the loss of some shares equal to the brokerage due. If they do something like selling your shares without giving enough time to settle the brokerage due, I think you should look for a different broker. Good luck.

I think your broker will ask you to top up your deposit to complete the purchase. And it isn't better to inquire customer support of your broker and get clear answer. don't know but my Hotforex broker support is always on tap and ready to help me.
