I am pretty new to this site and very new to trading also, please suggest me from where i should start to learn about trading

i've been learning about technical analysis for the last 6 months, with an objective to become a successful intraday trader. and i must say that i was overwhelmed by the nature of information contained here, and more significantly by the nobility, kindness and benevolence of our peers, seniors, who have shared vital information about the subtleties of this business! would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of them! as a seeker, who has spent the last few months groping around for information, buying and reading books, scouring the net for information, attending online courses, interactive classroom sessions... stumbling upon this site, where there exists, an interactive platform, which contains information i never found before, imbued with professional camaraderie and this sense of sharing, the feeling was indeed priceless! thank you once again!

hi! i am new to this fraternity and am really thankful to all the members who have made this happen! i have been learning technical analysis with the objective to become a competent intraday trader, and the thread 'teach a man how to fish" has been invaluable to me. however im having trouble understanding the concept of gauging trends using pivot highs and lows. i can understand the concept in theory, but when its demonstrated with the help of charts, im not able to identify the same, and as a result get the concept. it will be of great help if you can elucidate the same, by marking the series of higher pivot lows, and lower pivot highs in two different charts, and the explanation for those poins marked as pivot highs and lows.
